Hi Shyla!
I'm afraid it's not for us this time. Uncut version is going to be aired on BS Japan (12/24) 17:29 - 19: 54
so it is 3:29 - 5: 54 AM Eastern Time.
And I don't know if there is a stream for BS, probably only KeyHole.

Thank you Ostile and Ilica for the latest links.  Pattina, your thanks (almost) goes without saying.  Just when I thought Dai could not impress me anymore (because how could he possibly top any of his previous works of art) he pulls this performance out of his magical bag of tricks.  His talent is endless so I wish he would take his show on the road so other countries can see what he is capable of.

Merry Christmas Everyone!

So this is a third day "of Lacrimosa" for me, and I am still in shock - how? where?? when??? did he get to that level of artistic and physical sophistication?
I've never seen anything like this on ice!
I love Stephane and his programs, but Lacrimosa is something much much more. Marvelous, breathtaking, soulful, daring masterpiece!

I'm so happy, I almost feel like knocking to every door to bring the good news - DAI IS BACK AND HE IS JUST INCREDIBLE!!!.

(I'm not drunk - only drunk on Dai drunken drunken  )

Dai seems to be happy too, he posted three pics in the morning cheers

Happy Merry Christmas!!!  rendeer

(So no videos from BS broadcast? I thought they were going to air the last show from Yokohama, and was hoping for some more Lacrimosa... and the rest... )

Dancergirl and Shyla, thank you for your kind words. It's a joy for me to post news and pics of Dai-chan here, in the fan forum where (at that time only lurking  Laughing ) I started to learn more about the wonderful young man behind the amazing skater.

Shyla, thanks for link to XOI video clip!!!

Denis, Denis.... I'll always be grateful for your great job as photographer in the backstage of XOI

Hi guys!! How have you been? I'm sorry, I have been so lazy... tongue

I went to see two shows in Shinyokohama last month. It was a great pleasure and honor to see him back on the ice after the eight months absence. (I saw him in Odaiba, but he wasn’t on the ice....)

First of all, I’d like to thank Shae-Lynn to create such an amazing choreography and give him it at the very right time.  cheers  It would have been totally different if he came back with just an average program.

Dai-chan was super, gorgeous, inspiring and, uhhhh, everything!! Yes, he is a genuine genius. (I think we’ve known it for years, though!!)  sunny

Before XOI some people worried if he could give a good performance there. But I believed strongly that he isn’t a person who runs away from his responsibility, so I didn’t worry at all before the show. (Though I didn't know if he wanted positively to skate or not…. Neutral ) But what I saw there was something beyond my expectation!

Probably you guys have already watched Lacrimosa hundreds times. However I don’t think it is a program which needs an explanation, I’d like to share my impression with you guys a little.  Wink

On the first day (22nd) I was knocked down by new Dai-chan! Contemporary dance is what I‘ve been eager to see from him. After a while, the first thing which came to mind was how difficult to skate such a challenging music arrange. The rhythm and the music changed three times in a short time. Probably if an ordinary skater skated it (sorry to say), we would feel it very odd (or stupid) arrange of the music. But Dai-chan skated it beautifully and meaningfully without leaving any strangeness. I think he prepared plentifully in order to perform it in front of the audience. The experiences in NY also helped him a lot, as well. He probably went to see a lot of modern arts and contemporary performances. What he inhaled there already became a part of his body.

I went to Shinyokohama again the next day to see the last show of XOI. The last Lacrimosa was just speechless. While I had a room to “think of it” after I watched on the first day, the last performance even didn’t leave a space for me to think about it. It just overwhelmed me. He became a blazing flying soul over the ice. It will be broadcasted on 31st January. Please look forward to seeing it. Wink

“Born on Christmas Day” was a lovely Kenji-ish program, which you can enjoy his smooth skating. Loved it. The opening collaboration of the second part of the show, “It s The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year”, was lovely too.

The finale was rather simple compared to the last year XOI. (no coba-san) After the second finale, the show was going to end. Then the audience started to call “Dai-chan! Dai-chan!” waving their D1SK towels. I recalled the scene in Odaiba. Pure love from the fans who jsut wanted to cheer him up and convey their unchanged affection to him, filled the arena.

We continued it for a few minutes and then Dai-chan appeared with the other skaters again. He held a microphone in his hand and said something loudly. I couldn’t catch his words from my seat (south side) at all and thought the microphone had a problem. But my friend who sat rather close to him, said he was probably in tears. I hope it will be aired on 31st too. We will see.

Oh, I gotta go. Thank you for reading! sunny

Thanks Miyu-chan!!!

What a great, heartfelt report!

Not hard to believe he was in tears the last day in Shin-Yoko. He probably thought we had given up on him. So wrong he was... We will never give up on him, as long as he wants the support!

I agree with you about the fact that Lacrimosa doesn't need explanation.
Like with some poetry... you need to have the words reach your heart with their "music" and enjoy the feeling they provoke in you.

So is Lacrimosa. Dai is the "music" that reaches your heart. Your mind is not even allowed to do the work as, like you say, it sweeps you away and leaves you completely overwhelmed.

I hope he will have the chance and wish to grace the overseas crowd with Lacrimosa.

Miyu, so great to have you back here!!! cheers Thank you so much for report, so full of love and admiration! It comes out from your heart and it gives me shivers. In many points you expressed my same feelings. We are worlds apart and two different cultures, but share same love and respect for Dai-chan. That's amazing!!

And thanks also for being there, shouting out your love for Dai-chan. He deserves all our love and support, for ever.

Like Ostile, I strongly hope Dai will bring Lacrimosa overseas, this amazing masterpiece of enchanting beauty has to be seen by as many figure skating lovers as possible. Of course, I hope also to be one of them.

Hi! Thank you for reading my report!

Thank you, Shayla. I’ve been fine. I hope you, too.

Ilica, ostile and PATTINA, I also hope he will have a chance to skate the masterpiece overseas, both in Europe and US. He has to!!  bounce
