After his mom's speech, Dai is so moved, IMO he is on the verge of tears..... so sweet...

Thank you let's talk for the Happy Dai-chan with Sushi and Sake!!  drunken

According to the FB, the chef, in the picture of this "Kushiro Miyako Zushi" temporary branch in Osaka on the  Hokkaido Campaign Fair, is the father of Shu Nakamura, Daisuke's junior in Kansai Univ and a special trainee skater of Utako sensei's. Nakamura kun is indeed, from Hokkaido.

(This is Shu Nakamura's Warsaw Concerto, the same program Utako sensei gave Dai when they first met when Dai was 14)

So it seems that Daisuke san didn't come to this by chance but stopped by to show his support and greet the father
(as well as to enjoy the great food of Hokkaido Sushi and Sake  Very Happy ). As always, Dai-chan is nice!

PATTINA Thank you so much for the clip!!  I love you  I love you

Wow, so that's the moment Tokyo Sports captured...
I thought his (≧_≦) face on the still pic was his embarrassed moment  but,
... Yes, he looks like trying to hold back his tears in this one...   ヽ(;▽; )ノ ヽ(;▽; )ノ

Dai-chan is so cute in the part he couldn't stay still like a puppy not knowing what to do.

For some reason, I got swamped by another wave of Tsunami of emotions I now get since Oct 14th.  Embarassed   (Like us all?)

Twind, thank you so much for the informations about Shu Nakamura!
It just happened not long ago that this video of him popped up on YT for me:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vX57B9-kDlc

I thought he was lovely and obviously influenced by our king (what male skater in Japan isn't) so I'm happy to know he actually has personal contact with his idol.
So nice of Dai-chan to show his support!

Those weekends with skating competitions are the worst... I watch - I don't want to watch - I still watch... I simply can't find a place for myself... So many small things remind me of Him, and anything can produce those, as you said, Tsunamis...  Embarassed
