Don't worry, ostile17.

According to practice's report,
Daisuke attempted only 2 quads.
But he stopped rotating so one became a single, the other a triple.

Mainichi Daily News focus on Dai. He talks about the high altitude issue in Colorado.

"This is simply an opportunity to compete ahead of the world championships. I want to skate better than I did at the nationals and give myself a platform to build on for the worlds."

Wow, thanks, Shyla!

Hi all,

Just came back from men's morning practice session. Wow, it was so freaking cool to see these skaters live! I took a seat at the empty corner then it happened to be the area many skaters warm up and pack up. I chatted with Adam Rippon and Jeremy Ten (both were really really nice and cute and all that I love you)

I was watching Pchan with Australian skaters. Pchan skated his full SP with all elements - perfectly. It was just so unbelievable. Watching him skate like that - power, stroke, and acceleration, I must admit that he is truly something. The skaters were shaking their heads saying "such a talent". The bonus is that I also witnessed Pchan's signature splat so close in front of me.

Ok, Dai! He looked very relaxed and skating looked good. He ran thru FS without quad, combo, and spins. His triples looked all solid to me. He tried 4T oh so many times - and I thought I saw he landed one 4T+combo (nor sure, need to cross check with other reports).

Off to the ladies now, then go to the evening session. Hope to see Dai's SP.

Hi all again.

Mao landed 3A twice in a row during the afternoon practice. You go gurl!

Back from the men's evening practice (opening the beer bottle). Dai's SP run-thru was amazing. The heavy drum was pounding the arena and only Dai's strong steps could match up with that. He really surged up the entire atmosphere. What a skater. I love you I love you I love you
He tried 4T and fell...

Lots of 4T practice (hands down). He also practiced the luz sequence, many times, including combination. So I am feeling that he may do 4T tomorrow. Let's see.

Pchan seemed a bit tired tonight with several jump mistakes. Mura I think is in great condition.

Met up with Genki. We will watch tomorrow's practice together.
Excited.

Good for Mao. I was hoping she would try her 3A at this competition. Did you get a chance to see the US ladies practice?

Thanks for info. Glad to hear that Dai is looking fit and ready to go. My fingers are crossed that he leaves his falls on the practice ice.

GO Dai and Mao!!!

I also think so.
As reading lots practising reports, he landed 4T-2T(morning) and 4T-3T(evening) successfully.

Most important thing is that his quads were fully rotated.
I think that's really huge.

Wow, this is some great news! Let's cross our fingers that Dai-chan can also show some very good jumps in the SP tomorrow!

peepsrule, I'm happy for you that you can enjoy everything live :-) And meeting up with Genki is surely great, too :-)))

One more day and we'll see ...
