Very Happy

Sure it's great. But those are not live coverages. We'll know the results by then.

I know, but that is so much better than nothing. I almost prefer not to watch competitions live, when it comes to athletes I care about a lot: I get way too nervous! pale

Plus...Raisport airing 4CC??? Man, that is like such a huge event! Laughing

Hi there

Lovely that at least there will be recordings of the programmes :-))) And I really hope there will be nice videos on youtube later.

It's a shame that Jeremy cannot participate! :-( I wish him a speedy recovery!

Cheers
Gudrun.

I will miss Jeremy too. I read that his coach said Jeremy was having back spasms that was affecting his right hip and that he nneded to rest but should be ready to go for Worlds. So the good news is that it is not a serious hip injury.

Chinese TV sports channel CCTV5 seems to promise a live BC of mens short and free programs.

At least their TV guide does:
http://translate.google.com/translate?sl=zh-CN&tl=en&js=n&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&layout=2&eotf=1&u=http%3A%2F%2Fbugu.cntv.cn%2Fnettv%2Fibugu%2F28%2FCCTV5%2F20120210.shtml

Looks like they will show the later groups only.

The times for those in Europe:

Friday 10.02
SP Men 05:30 - 07:05 CET

Saturday 11.02
FS Men 05:30 - 07:05 CET

Here's a list with CCTV5 streams (more links to streams are welcome):

You are incredible! It's so amazing to see which information you can come up with :-)))) Thank you very much!

Has anyone ever watched a Chinese feed? That'll be interesting, I'm sure :-)

Thanks a lot!

Let's hope it will be different this time!

I did in the past, Cup of China and other competitions. Yes, they are talkative and loud there. But sometimes they stay quiet during a skate.

Shyla, thank you for the information!
I looked at the page and saw that there are 2 skaters from Taiwan! I didn't know they had skaters :-)

Cheers

According to his fansite in Japan,
he arrived in Colorado Springs in this afternoon and looked healthy and calm.
he was being interviewed at the airport.

#######################################################

It seems that he would be skipped the first official practice.

How do you mean your apartment is falling apart? Is it due to the snow? In Germany it is also freezing right now, yesterday morning we had -14 C when I went to work :-)

Thanks to fosse (thanks a lot fosse!!) we have some news, ostile17! Dai-chan arrived safe and sound and even went to the first practice :-)))

I'm sure he'll enjoy skating!! And even more so, when he can hear / see his fans (that's what I learned from the interviews). So everyone who can cheer for him, let him hear your voices! :-)))

Cheers
Gudrun.

I will be there too.

This will be my first, and (I think) the last to see his skating live in a competition before he retires. (teary eyes) I got crazy finding Dai going and it's in Colodado I clicked for the tickets without thinking much. (the expenses...)

This is also my first time to watch any figure skating event and I live in Hawaii. What a Face I am carefully getting my warm stuff ready to wrap myself up. Any suggetions and advices from your experiences?

I will cheer him my best for all of lovely people here! I love you

The jumps will look scary when you watch fs live for the very first time. As for Dai, he is even more magnetic than on TV, if it's even possible, I mean to be more. bounce

Yes, because of the big temperature jump the walsl sort of dilate and the tiles are falling off the walls... Sad

But thank you all for the news!
