Thanks for the info. It should be quite a battle between, Dai, Abbot and Chan.

Shyla, talk about Patrick and Dai.
But I don`t believe in Jeremy.
We will see anyway.
Finally, 4CC is close in terms!

^ Of course I think that Dai is in a class of his own with his skating and want him to win but Jeremy and Chan especially Chan are capable of putting up big score. If all three skaters brings their A game it will be a battle. I think it will be very exciting competition.

I believe this will be the first time that Dai, Patrick and Jeremy have competed against each other this season. Can't wait.

The 3 met in GPF back in December. PChan finished 1st, Daisuke was 2nd and Jeremy was 5th.

I read Jeremy might be adding a 4T+3T to his sp.

I think Jeremy can medal.

How could I forget GPF. I guess I was so caught up in the scoring (Chan winning the FS over Dai) that I forgot about Jeremy. lol

Hi there

hsuhs thank you for your information on the 4 CC :-)))

The SP would be shown at three in the night in Europe, is that correct? I think it's an 8 hours' difference. Would Russia 2 broadcast it?

I'm sure it'll be an interesting competition :-))) And finally we are going to see Dai-chan again :-))))

Cheers
Gudrun.

Looking for links.

Yep. 8 hours difference with CET.

Can't say anything about a possible Russia 2 broadcast, their site doesn't have a tv schedule for those dates, yet.

Hi there

I had a look at the Eurosport programme - nothing at all for that time! It's soo mean, isn't it? This TV station could show a little bit more interest in figure skating!!

I remember that the forum at Golden Skate often provides good ideas how to watch the competition. Usually one has to wait for a little while at the day and at the time one would like to watch and somebody comes up with an idea. Let's hope that if there is nothing else that this will help ...

Gudrun.

Hi Guys:

I will be going there. So excited. I got the first row, so I will see the battle between Dai, Chan, and Abbott right under my nose. Very Happy Laughing

I hope this time Judging will be better than GPF. I was totally in shock that near perfect Dai's free was beaten by mistake ridden Chan. That was like a nightmare. What were they looking ?

Meanwhile, in Japan Koz and Mura both landed 2 quads in their long. I am so sure that Dai is practicing like hell knowing that he should bring it as a Japanese Champ. I hope he does not injure himself again though, since Utako-sensei once said that Dai practices to death.

I am sure that Dai's quad will be back in the future like Utako sensei said. She said," I am not worried, because Dai could land 2 quads so easily before, it will come back. It just takes time."

However I am worried whether reasonable judging will be back. In other board, there are lot of people saying that Chan will win when both Chan and Dai skate technically perfect program. This does not make any sense to me. But now judge are clearly giving higher pcs to Chan because of his SS. They should stop this NOW Mad

I wish I was going, it is not often that Dai comes to the US. I would love to see him skate live. Have fun everyone and give Dai lots of love and cheers from me! I wil be watching on Univ. Sports live stream. It cost $9.95 but I think it is only for US.
