| His Twitter URL is http://twitter.com/D1sk61316 I'm very excited that Dai joined Twitter! A fair amount of other skaters have twitter, but only a few Japanese skaters do (like Akiko Suzuki and Miki Ando). I've actually been wishing he had an account, so this is a nice surprise. Maybe it'll give us more insight into how his condition is (like how well his injury is healing), and things like that. Also, you can write to him on twitter, if you ever want to send him an encouraging message or ask a question. If you don't have a twitter account, if you go to www.twitter.com and click sign up, it should be pretty easy to make one. It takes a little while to get used to how it works, but once you adjust it is pretty simple.  |

| I think it`s cool not to surf the net, not writing etc. I adore Dai`s articles in Japanese newspaper. Besides, he has blog in Kansai univ.site.  |

| Daisuke hasn't tweeted in a few days  He was probably getting ready for nationals though. I just wanted to say when I saw him and Nana talking about SPEC it made me so happy because I also watched and really liked that drama! haha More and more Japanese skaters seem to be getting in to twitter. It's a trend I approve of! |

Shatterpoint, I have a Twitter account, but I was wondering whether it was really possible to send Daisuke an encouraging message or ask him a question. As he has more than 11,000 followers, but only follows about 32 others (of which I am not one), how would he get to see any message of encouragement I send? I must admit, I'm not really that knowledgeable about how Twitter works, so if you have any advice, that'd be wonderful!. |

It is possible to send him a message by hitting the reply button to one of his tweets or typing @ and then his username from your twitter homepage.
I'm not sure how well he can read english and I've never seen him reply to a fan, but many skaters seem to read messages they receive on their twitter accounts and while they usually don't reply to individual messages, sometimes they thank their fans as a whole for the messages if they've been getting a lot of them, like after competitions, etc. |
