I met Dai in Detroit and he is absolutely very nice and patient to fans. Watanabe-san was his companion most of the time, but Nagamitsu-san and Japanese media appeared on July 29. Here’s some of the autographs I got from him.

One of my friends joined the signature campaign for the Kurashiki Ice Rink. I asked her to scan the thank-you postcard to me and printed it on a nice letter paper. Dai asked me what day it was and I gave him a wrong answer (should be 7/28)

Hi Anorithil:

Lucky you. I met Dai last year at skate Canada. I was with him for about 3 days backstage, because my boss wanted me to protect him from aggressive Japanese media!!

Great job!!

He is really nice, isn't he?
BTW, did you here any music that he is using?
Is it peer Gyunt as some people guessed?

Genki,

It sounds that you are much luckier than me Very Happy

Yes he is nice and cute Smile Honestly I don't know the name of the music, although I heard it again and again..

And if he wants to keep it secret until the season starts, we should let him have it his way Smile

You're very strange Rolling Eyes
If Daisuke wished to hold it in a strict secret, you would not be there.
In any case we soon learn it.

Obviously there are going to be people in the rink when Daisuke practices. It's not like he's going to rent out the place to himself just so people won't hear his music. But he said explicitly that he doesn't want to reveal the music until the season starts, so if you're a fan and you know that, it'd be best to respect his wishes and not reveal it in a public forum like this. anothril said she doesn't know the name of the piece anyway, so we should leave it at that.

Hi Anorithil:

Sure. I respect your wish. There are lot of things that I did not talk in this forum about the backstage occurrence last year too.

I also thought the same," I should respect Dai."

This is a proof that he is such a great person who deserves a great deal of respect from fans.

You are very right, anorithil! Very Happy You don't need to be sorry.
We will see it when the time comes. As Lil said, Patience is gold. Wink Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful experience with us. I envy you! I love you

And Genki, I don't think Dai-chan skated his new SP in Detroit much. Razz

BTW, Pasquale looks busy. Very Happy As fa as I know, he choreographed
Akiko Suzuki: FP Fiddler on the Roof
Tomas Verner: SP Singin' in the Rain
Michal Brezina: SP Kodo

Alissa Czisny and Alban Preaubert, too? Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

Hi Miyu:

Pasquale became so popular because of Dai's "michi".
I don't have any doubt about it.

I guess Dai is flying to Tronto after finishing up FS in Detroit and will start to work short with Shay leen (Sorry for my spelling.)

Somebody reported that even Kenji also is going to work short with Dai, which makes his shorts three?

Well, maybe a rumor.

Dai is so quick in learning programs that even Shizuka said that she lost confidence when she was training with Dai

I am so sure that Dai is the only one skater in this world who is able to shake olympic gold medalist' confidence

I've read this news too http://community.livejournal.com/daisha_daily/19751.html
I think 3 SP is too much, but I'm happy if he'll work with Kenji again Smile
