Hi, I'm from Switzerland and I saw Daisuke for the first time at the 2010 Olympics while watching the men's SP. I only started watching figure skating in 2008/2009 and since he wasn't skating that season I did not hear of him til the Olympics. But as soon as I saw his SP, it was so good that I became a fan!
I was very happy when he then won the Worlds, and I can't wait to see him next season.
I hope to post here as much as I can!

Thank you for you welcome also, Genki! To be honest, I don't really know why. They just are really good at spins! Denise Biellmann (swiss skater) even has the Biellmann spin named after her! I think it's just a heritage? I don't know!
Yes, maybe it's because Peter Grutter!! I think it could be because of their coaches - they are ex skaters who were good at spins and they kind of pass it on?
