JSF announced the selection criteria for Vancouver Olympics.
Sorry for my poor English.Neutral I hope you can understand it.

(1) A top-placed Japanese skater in the top 3 at Grand Prix Final. In principle, the skater must participate in Japanese National Championships.
(2) In principle, the winner of Japanese National Championships will be selected.
(3) After above, remaining spots (a spot?) will be selected among

a. skaters who will finish in the top 3 at Japanese National Championships
b. Grand Prix Final qualifiers
c. the top 3 Japanese skaters in ISU world rankings at the moment after Japanese National Championships

considering points gained in competitions, quality of performance and ISU world rankings.

And in case skaters who have finished in the top 6 at World Championships in the past can't satisfy the condition (3) due to injuries and etc. in the first half of the season, they will possibly be be added to the candidates considering their condition at Olympics.

GO DAI-CHAN!! cheers cheers
