Skate Canada News: Some Format Changes

Exciting format changes at some Skate Canada events this season.

For the first time at HomeSense Skate Canada International, competitors will skate the short program in reverse order of placement on the ISU world ranking. At the BMO Canadian Figure Skating Championships for the short programs, those skaters who receive byes to the national championships will skate in reverse order of placement from last year’s BMO Canadian Figure Skating Championships.

I found that Nobunari Oda's name remains on 2007 HomeSense Skate Canada International. It makes me sad.

I'm sure ISU will be updating their GP rosters in the near future the closer to the date of the events.
So we need to keep an open eye on their web site for the changes.
I'll keep the forum posted as soon as the GP roster is more finalized.

Yes I 'm dissapointed that Nobu won't be @ Sk. Can. I was soooo..... looking forward to seeing him & his Mom there.
