These are Jeffrey Buttle's new programs for next season:
SP: "May in Backyard" by Ryuichi Sakamoto
LP: "Eclogue" by Gerald Finzi

Here you can listen the music for the SP:

It's really strange... I don't like it so much...

"Eclogue" by Gerald Finzi is more classical... it's Jeffrey's style...

Thanks for the information about Jeff's new programs and rinks, glorydave! Very Happy

Uh....His SP music is very interesting. I can't imagine how Jeff performs. I prefer this to new one.
And yes, Free Skating music is for his style.

Thank you so much for the information and the link, glorydave! Very Happy

Oh...this SP music...how is he going to arrange this and is it goona be alright? I wonder...
He sometimes chooses this kind of "Not-Buttle like" mysterious music and it rarely succeed... Rolling Eyes
I hope he can find out a different aspect of Jeff hidden inside and connect to the performance.

FS music, YES! I agree this is surely Jeff's style, glorydave and Leode!

One question. Do you think Jeff is going to attempt quad this season? My answer is YES, but not sure...

Thanks for the info and links, glorydave. I haven't listened to the music yet but the titles are interesting.

Yshion, Jeff said that he will be training the jump later in the summer. His intent is to get it perfect so he won't be affected by the penalties. Here's an article: http://web.icenetwork.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20080716&content_id=49351&vkey=ice_news.

I don't think we'll get to see a fully-rotated one-foot-landed quad from Jeffrey, IMHO.

I agree,Jeff is technically challenged although he is an excellent artist in some way.
I think Daisuke has the ability to skate all kinds of music which Jeff can't do.And he has been making enormous progress all these years. Both technically and artistically Dai will be invincible next season Smile
